The story of the Lotus Therme Hotel & Spa began in 1996, when Austrian entrepreneur and hotelier Robert Rogner Senior envisioned a premium wellness hotel in Hévíz that would unite the tranquillity of nature with high-quality hospitality. From the very first moment he believed that the world-famous thermal lake of Hévíz and the surrounding nature could provide the perfect foundation for a wellness destination of international standard.
Lotus Therme was not born simply as a hotel, but as a place where healing, relaxation and elegant leisure come together in harmony. Robert Rogner Senior’s vision was to create a modern resort that would bring a new approach to Hungarian wellness culture while respecting the special healing traditions of Hévíz. Built in a park of more than 17 hectares, the hotel soon became one of the best-known premium hotels in Hévíz.
The natural setting, the wellness experiences built on healing water, the refined gastronomy and attentive hospitality created a unique atmosphere that brings generations of guests back again and again. The founder’s approach still defines the world of Lotus Therme today: a commitment to quality, discreet elegance and the aim that every guest experiences true rejuvenation.
